Chaewon's Movie review(Mao's last dancer)

Last Sunday, i watched Mao's last dancer at self study time period. I was very excited.

From now on, i will write my movie review.

Plot:

Mao became a great balletrino. He went through all of his trials. He practiced really hard. Mr. Chan inspired Li. Li found out that there is a new world outside of China. Mao didn't want to leave U.S. At that time, he met a new girl too. However, they got divorced. Mao had a concert in China with his second wife.

Opinion:

When Mao was young, he wasn't good at ballet and very suck at it. One day, he got call by a pig head from the teacher. They bet each other that if Mao jump well then we will not call him pig head. So he decided to practice hard not to be called that name. He practiced like putting heavy clothes on and spinning, jumping, running. So it was very impressive. One day, main ballerino got hurt. So he replaced him. On that stage, he got a lot of attention from the audience. He became very popular. He met one girl named Elizabeth. Mao fell in love with her. He was so happy to see her. Also, he doesn't want to go back to China because  he doesn't want to get apart with Elizabeth also  all he has to is that just do ballet what head teacher tell him to do. China is very restrict but in America it is very free to ballet. So he asked to China ambassador if he can stay in America but their answer was "NO". At that time, he missed his family so much. He always brought his family picture wherever he goes. And he fought with his fiancee. They had a conflict that Mao wants to dance in America but thinking of China in his rim of his heart. His girlfriend thought she is understanding Mao a lot but Mao said you don't understand me at all to her. So they got divorced. And he met a new girl well she isn't a new girl. They met each other when Mao first started ballet. They got married. Lastly, they did a concert in China. so he met his parents in concert. They were very happy. I like this movie because Mao wasn't good at Ballet and English. He practiced hard not to call by a pig head. I realized that if i want to do well, then there shouldn't be a  pressure. If we are not free then we will get more confident about what we are doing so i think this movie gives you a lot of message. If i grade this movie 1 to 10 i will choose 9.

2. What qualities of leadership can you learn from the characters in "Mao’s Last Dancer"?

A.I can learn that there is more things to learn if we just looked at other side. We are too used to something and we don't want to get out of it. After i saw this movie, i felt something that i should look at other side to learn new. 

A. I think we can convince our opinion. Do what is good for me and resonable. So i think that is what 22 century leadership should have!!.
